Different paths to start

When deciding to become a pilot there are many unknowns in the different paths to obtain the professional pilot license. Many possible paths to make your dream come true.

Integrated or modular path?

You might have seen in many places two main options to obtain the so called frozen ATPL. This stands for Airplane Transport Pilot License, and is the needed license to able to start working professionally as a pilot in an airline.

Two main paths can be defined to reach your goal:

The so called integrated course, where you won't need to worry about anything and we will be in charge of organizing your training.

The modular course, where you will have to obtain each module separately and will be in charge of organizing each step.

What is the Integrated ATPL course?

Integrated courses are the fastest way to obtain such license. The course is a closed course in which we will guide you through a syllabus where you will go from zero to being able to apply to as a professional pilot.

This course can sometimes be a little bit pricer than the modular path, although shorter in time. In the integrated course, you will be studying for the theoretical ATPL exams while also building your flying skills with the different airplanes as well as simulators.

What is the modular ATPL course?

In the modular path, you will be your own pace maker. This courses take more time and are aimed if you need to combine your studies while you are working.

You will obtain the different phases separately, starting first with what we call the Private Pilot License (PPL (A)).  Then doing your time building to obtain your CPL/ME/IR ratings while studying for your ATPL theoretical exams.

In this scenario you will be sitting two rounds of official exams, first for your PPL license and the for the ATPL license.
